New Petition to Fix Street Fighter V Net Code Gains Traction

With the rampant popularity of the Street Fighter franchise, SFV's net code is perhaps the most scrutinized online multiplayer mode in the history of video games. Even Capcom's producer Yoshinori Ono acknowledged there was a problem, and says Capcom has plans to fix it.

A Japanese Street Fighter fan agomi79 is not willing to just patiently wait, however.
In an online petition, he is asking for signatures, in the hope that a public outcry would grab Capcom's attention, so the publisher can hurry the hell up with a fix.

Less famous fighting game franchises like King of Fighters get needed patches seemingly every five minutes, whereas Capcom's flagship Fighting game takes an average 2 to 3 months before a patch is released that actually solves a problem.

Street Fighter is arguably the most popular fighting game franchise of all time, and subsequently faces a lot more demand for bug fixes - especially with regard to Net code.
