Open Water 2003, is based on the true story. Director Chris Kentis

Director Chris Kentis and his producer wife Laura Lau produces brilliant film on a limited budget and a 3 chip Sony PD 150 digital video camera, not to mention strikingly bold photography.

Brilliant in every way, actors Blanchard Ryan and Daniel Travis are right on the mark with their portrayals.

Daniel (Daniel Travis) and Susan (Blanchard Ryan) in movie Open Water 2003

Done in such a way that you are able to share in the sense of vulnerability and helplessness, Open Water has its reminding message of man's actual place in the largest scheme of nature.

The suspense and tension are paced brilliantly, with a rhythmical sense of  tragic suspense.
